SC Hauler Helper

Star Citizen Mission Planner & Route Optimizer

SC Hauler Helper - A Star Citizen Cargo Mission Planner and Route Optimizer

SC Hauler Helper is a free, browser-based companion for Star Citizen cargo runners. Scan contract screenshots with OCR, stack compatible hauling missions for maximum payout, sequence pickups and dropoffs into an efficient route, and visualize your cargo bay box-by-box so nothing gets left behind on a multi-stop run.

How It Works

  1. Pick a hauling ship. Select your ship in the header — the C2 Hercules, MISC Hull A/B/C, RAFT, Caterpillar, Cutlass Black, Freelancer MAX, and other cargo haulers are preloaded with their real SCU capacities.
  2. Add your contracts. Click Mission Scanner to OCR a screenshot of the contract preview screen — payout, commodities, quantities, pickups, dropoffs, and the per-contract container size cap are all extracted automatically. You can also add missions manually with the + Add Mission button.
  3. Stack for maximum payout. Open the Mission Stacker tab to find the best combination of contracts that fits in your hold. Sort results by efficiency (payout per travel unit), total payout, or mission count. Constrain by maximum locations for efficiency or a tight time budget.
  4. Run the route. Switch to Route Planner for the optimized stop order, mark cargo boxes as loaded in the Cargo Visualizer so you can pause mid-run without losing track, and step through pickups and dropoffs on the Route Map.

Why Star Citizen Haulers Use It

Cargo Hauling missions in Star Citizen reward planning and mission-stacking, but the in-game interface makes it difficult to identify good contract combinations. SC Hauler Helper reads the mission info and does the math for you: it considers ship capacity, container size caps, pickup-before-delivery constraints, cluster ordering across planets, and detour costs, then recommends the most profitable combinations it can find.

Supported Systems & Locations

Every cargo location in Stanton — including all four planets (ArcCorp, Crusader, Hurston, MicroTech), every moon (Lyria, Wala, Cellin, Daymar, Yela, Calliope, Clio, Euterpe), every named lagrange station (HUR-L1 through MIC-L5), and every outpost, mining facility, freight elevator, and trading post. Pyro and Nyx are supported for cross-system gateway routes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is SC Hauler Helper?

A free browser-based tool for Star Citizen cargo runners. It scans contract screenshots, stacks compatible missions for maximum payout, sequences pickup and dropoff stops into an efficient route, and visualizes cargo loadout box by box.

Do I need to install anything?

No. SC Hauler Helper runs entirely in your browser — paste a screenshot, plan your route, and go. There is nothing to download, nothing to install, no account required.

How does the mission scanner work?

Take a screenshot of the contract preview screen in Star Citizen and paste it into the scanner. The tool uses OCR to extract the payout, commodity, quantity, pickup, dropoff, and per-contract container size cap. Multiple screenshots can be processed in a batch.

What ships are supported?

Every ship in Star Citizen with a cargo grid, each with its actual SCU capacity.

Which systems and locations are supported?

All Stanton locations — ArcCorp, Crusader, Hurston, MicroTech, their moons, lagrange stations, and outposts — plus Pyro and Nyx for cross-system routes.

What is the mission stacker?

The stacker takes your full list of scanned contracts and finds the combination that maximizes payout within your ship's cargo capacity. Sort by efficiency, total payout, or mission count; constrain by the maximum number of unique stops; let the solver pick the best subset to actually accept.

Is this affiliated with Cloud Imperium Games?

No. SC Hauler Helper is an unofficial fan project. Star Citizen and all related trademarks belong to Cloud Imperium Games.
